we held a mini belated bday celebration for sarah( but of course we did'nt tell her it was her bday celebration) at the club that my family and i go to. rachel, azzimah and myself met at tm and headed to NTUC coz rachel wanted to buy kimchi as part of the celebrations. sarah's presents were all korean-drama inspired so we thot we might as well go all out korean and get the kimchi. apparently they don't sell kimchi at NTUC.
when all of us were present,we decided to eat at the food court at century square. there was some concert thing but the performances wern't very good. after lunch we headed for the club. caught bus 29 just in time. once at the club we headed for the ktv room. honestly speaking i had never been inside it before, but all of us had a ball of a time.
we did'nt noe wat songs they had and hoped that the songs wern't so outdated. we hoped they at least had backstreet boys. but we were very happy to find out that not only did they have backstreet boys, they had a whole lot of other songs. plus, the video was'nt of a girl walking by the beach. u noe those kind they usually have, with a blonde model in 1990s kind of dressing in some sarong thing walking by the beach or sitting under a tree. they actually did have mtv music videos!
rachel the expert operated the system and the rest of us yelled out the songs we wanted to sing. they had ashlee simpson ok. don't play play. all of us spontaneously sang. even azzimah. and shaz too.

a few songs later and once all of us got comfortable, that's when the crazy fun began.

shaz was singing all the backstreet boys songs and we even found the malay song we liked called my heart. the girl and guy singing the song were both VERY GOOD LOOKING and are really together in real life.

after an EXTREMELY loud and crazy session of karaoke, it was time to give sarah her presents. girl, i'm glad u liked them! this is how i know she liked her presents:

anyway, i had LOTS of fun and we should do this again soon. it was totally crazy! azzimah's brother was there and i'm sure he can vouch for that. he must be thinking that his sister has really crazy, weird creatures for friends. we spent about as much time screaming with laughter as singing. and we spent a bit more than 2 hours in the room.
It was a blast!!!!!!
