YAY!

EXAMS OVER...ok...it has been over for the past week already. Ooops =P
winter is approaching Wellington, in some other areas of NZ it has already been snowing. Seriously. Not too sure if Welly would snow but oh well, i think i m prepared for it ^^

well the sad thing about the holidays is that people are going home and one of my friends was complaining that she is homesick and i was like this: OY! Yup, she is wondering how i handled it and I gave her my secret...CHOCOLATES. ^^

yup people, remember when Mrs Seng said in GP class one day that chocolates makes you dunb and happy? Seriously, eat it.

anyhow...i am due to start my little part-time job soon with the university as an International Student OGL...HAHAHAHA...PAID OK!!! though at a pathetic rate of $13 an hour (which is only $1 above minimum wage levels T.T) and this equates to approx. $11 an hour AFTER TAX. Ya, after all that I have contributed the New Zealand economy, they are still gonna tax me. >.<

to date i have earned approximately $33 for helping pack stuff and undergoing training. Yippee!
hehe...this job is mainly to kill time la and well to fund my extras in the form of ICE CREAM, CHEESECAKE and COFFEE ^^

my friend swears I am weird after he saw me whack a pack of instant noodles and ice cream right after the provided dinner and dessert. =P

oh well it has been fun so far but the thing is that results will b out in 2 weeks time and laws will be out in 1 week time (for those who failed, coz if u fail this trimester, you can't proceed on to the next trimester for law and you will need to restructure everything).

urgh, i need a LONGER holiday >.<

anyhow...good luck with your holidays peeps! Make sure u guys keep your November and December hols free FOR ME! =p

Its been some time since we had picturess!!!

thanks to Rachel and Azzimah for coming down to my event on my birthday! rachel cycled 10.6km on the gym bike as a support that we should all switch to using publi transport or bikes instead of drive! haha, ok contradictory for someone who got her driving licence some time ago, but hey i'm just the reserve driver k, i'm not looking into getting a car any time soon.

hey ppl...

once rach returns...it's my turn for camp..i'll be in camp from 13-15 june..but b4 tat let me tell u something naughty and lazy i did...as i am writing now...i'm supposedly to be in camp..haha...sarah has passed not only the crapping skill but also the 'ponning skill' to me... it's mock camp starting yesterday..first i said i cld go...closer to the date..i started being lazy to go for the camp...then due to my other cca meeting on sat morning, i told them i can't go for mock camp..i didn't even think of going for camp after the meeting coz i was plain lazy and was looking for excuses not to go for mock camp..then my meeting was canceled at e last minute..and i didn't even attempt to msg them to say i can go...haha...but missing the mock camp was worth it coz i manage to catch singapore world cup match...though we lost, i'm still proud of them coz they played superbly well today..but the sad thing is tat i'll miss the next match against saudi arabia nxt sat since i'm in camp and i can't look for excuses this time cos it's e real camp and i already promised to help out...if any you patriotic gals out there watching nxt wk...u can always give me a live update thru sms..haha...


Sarah: i used it on and off for tuition but 95% of the time i not using so u can have it...is there any topics u need urgently..cos i've been taking things in and out of the file for my tuition and the filing of the notes is not in sequence and some parts are wid shaz..in short..e filing is in a mess...if u need some urgently i can send those first b4 i go for my camp..oh..and do u need the normal table too coz i have to search first for that somewhere in my uni notes(i hope it there but i know it's somewhere at home cos i didn't throw)

okay, i'm sure u girls got my email, but i'm here again just to remind you girls.

I'm volunteering for this event called Re:Live@Atrium, which is at plaza sing. Its basically an environment event lah, encourgaing ppl, especially youths to lead environmentally healthy lifestyles!!!!!!!

as geog students, i'm sure you all will appreciate this.. Miss earth, u noe wat to do.

the actual event is from 5th-15th june. but i'm gonna be emceeing on the 7th, 8th, and 14th of june. so please come down!!!! i'll be there on the 5th too, but i won't be emceeing. so please visit me!

there are games that you can take part in. on the 14th, there's a handicraft competition which u can take part in also.

one of the games i'm emceeing is called snakes and ladders and its a real life sized snakes and ladders. the board is 5m by 5m ok, dun play play. its seriously fun, so really really please come down!!

hey peeps..

with my cca stuff to do...i have set a new record...sending more emails than i can remember in a day..not to mention...i tot i sounded quite 'fierce' and sarcastic in one of my email..something i hardly do to my cca ppl..even when i got shocked by myself when i was reading the thing..it is so not me..this girl who always can't be bothered when ppl try to piss her actually got pissed with the spendriftness(no such word i think..but u know wat i mean) of the whole society...

these r few of the lines from my mail...

1) shld u make the purchase without informing us, we may NOT REFUND back ur money even if the cost is reasonable...(and i was super tempted to write Will not but decided not to be so mean)
2) latecomers without a valid reason would be fined $1 for EVERY 15 MIN OR PART THEREOF...this fine is NOT OPEN FOR BARGAINING...once either Airi or I say u r fined means u r fined. Perpetual latecomers, I would like to thank you in advance for ur contributions..earlybirds, let's hope we can start the meeting punctually..(this was a hint cos at the last meeting..at 630 when the meeting is supposed to start..i was still stranded alone..later joined by a girl on attachment while the others from home come even later than her..e 3rd person arrive at 645..and the wait continued..with some irritating excuse..'sorry i late cos need to take car'..and another..'i hate public transport..no pte transport..'..like i care how u get to the place..i really dun understand wat's wid e malays and punctuality..)

and this mail was sent after i reread it so many times to make the tone less pissed off and sound more like me but i got no idea how to rephrase so many stuff since i was naturally feeling pissed at that moment..imagine when i reminded them ine past that we were overspending..they just said..'oh..is it...'then they change topic...the next i know when they pass me the next batch of receipt the initially overspending of few tens of dollars have multiplied to hundreds..and at the end..it became thousand...it's like they think my role is only to give out money and collect receipt..now when they planning the budget..they still think we have as much money..and still innocently asked 'oh..we dun have tat much ar'..they think money fall from the sky meh...

sorry..i keep on using e blog to pour out feelings and vent my frustrations..

anyway...back to my crappy self..so sad singapore loss..the biggest defeat in years...tho i have to admit it was an entertaining match and singapore gave a superb fight in the first 30min..no doubt to win was dif since uzbekistan is ranked so much higher than us..but the 30min gave a lot of hope..sigh..defence was such a letdown..but still i'm proud of their fighting spirit till the end..at least we didn't give up...this pro-singapore gal wld always have something nice to say abt her beloved ctry in e end..haha..

hope to c u guys soon..tho we r all busy with our cca and volunteerism and job...so weird..the hols and we still hardly meet..haha...
